Winter, 2010 Class schedule

Basic Beading - January 23, Saturday 1-3 p.m.

Come learn the basics of jewelry making in the fun, relaxed atmosphere in The Bead Shop at WillowBridge.  Our new location is the perfect place to sit down with our designers and learn the basic ‘how- to’s’ of jewelry design and construction.

All thumbs???  No worries!  Class size is limited to allow ample time for you to master these basic skills.  It is recommended children wanting to take the class be at least ten years of age and be accompanied by a paid adult who will also be taking the class.

Easy, fun and relaxing.  Plus Each student will be taking home a pair of earrings they make in class! 

Cost is $15.00 which includes all materials needed to complete your first pair of earrings.  All students receive a 20% discount on any additional Bead Shop purchases made the day of class.

Classes will be held with a minimum of four paid enrollments and a maximum of six. No refunds will be given so please check your schedules carefully.

Basic Beading - January 26th  Tuesday,  6-8 p.m.

Same class description as above but offered in the evening for your convenience. 

Love is In the Air - February 9th, Tuesday, 6-8 p.m.

This pre-Valentine’s day class will focus on making either a pair of earrings or simple pendant for your special Valentine.  A selection of Valentine Day beads and findings will be provided and included in the $15.00 class fee.  A free Valentine gift box will be included!  This class may be taken by beginners or as a convenient follow up to the Basic Beading classes offered in January.

Round and Round Bracelets - February 20th, Saturday, 1-3 p.m.

This class will teach the basics of bracelet making. Students will choose from two styles of bracelets.  Because of the additional materials required, the cost of this class will be $20.

Cabin Fever - March 20th, Saturday, 1-3 p.m.

This class offers a bit more freedom to the student. Students can choose which style/type of jewelry they would like to make – earrings, necklace, bracelet or all three depending on the student’s skill level.  The class fee will be $10 PLUS the cost of materials which can be purchased during class at a 20% discount.  Our teachers will be available to help you construct your own design from start to finish. 

We have had many, many requests for classes and are excited to finally be able to meet some of those requests.  We are also happy to consider additional classes if more interest is shown. 

Private one-on-one lessons are available for $10 plus the cost of materials. 

 If you are a mom (or dad) looking for something new and different to do with your kids this winter, consider scheduling a family jewelry making session with kid friendly materials.   Call for details!

 We are also very HAPPY to do private jewelry making classes for groups of four or more. Get your friends together and enjoy each other’s company while you relax and design a one-of-a-kind bracelet or necklace.
