What is Life Coaching?

Life Coaching is profoundly different from consulting, mentoring, therapy, or counseling. A coach empowers you to reach for specific personal goals, business successes, or general transitions in life. Coaching can also address issues with relationships or careers by exploring what is going on right now, discovering what your obstacles or challenges might be, and choosing a course of action to make your life be what you want it to be. Coaching is a compass. It has the power to lead you to a meaningful life. If you are unhappy and want more in your life, Coaching is the tool for you. How Does Life Coaching Work?

Coaching Format:

The first step is the Discovery Session: a 60-90 minute "Design the Alliance" session to build a path for growth, establish goals, and to weed out the yuk. 

  • weekly, biweekly, or monthly sessions
    • In-person or over the phone
    • Email support
    • Occasional brief check-in calls (if so desired)

For instance: a typical month could look like A) three 30 minute sessions or B) two 45 minute sessions.

Life Coaching is a designed alliance between coach and client where the coaching relationship continually gives all the power back to you the client. We believe that you know the answers to every question or challenge you may have in your life, even if those answers appear to be hidden inside.
